Requesting a Mass Intention

If you would like to have a Mass celebrated for a special request, on behalf of a family member, a friend, or a deceased loved one, you are encouraged to check with your local Catholic Parish for scheduling the Mass.

Alternately, the Missionaries of the Holy Family are happy to celebrate a Mass for your intention if there is no availability at your local parish or if you simply prefer to have a Missionary of the Holy Family priest celebrate the Mass.

Missionary Mass Intentions

Requesting a missionary Mass intention is easy.

By Mail: Please print the Mass Intention Request form and complete one form for each Mass.   Then mail the completed form along with your Mass offering (see form for details) to the Missionaries of the Holy Family, 3014 Oregon Ave. Saint Louis, Missouri 63118.

or

Online: If you are planning a Mass Offering of $10 or more with your Mass Intention you can make an Online Mass Request.  We can also send a Mass Card to you or an alternate address that you provide.  Rest assured that recipients of a Mass Card at an alternate address will not be added to our mailing list.

(The cost of processing gifts through the internet is $1.00 or more so it is responsible stewardship to accept offerings of $9 or less via the postal mail while offerings of $10 can be accepted online.)

A priest of the Missionaries of the Holy Family will celebrate your Mass request as soon as possible (within 1 year).

Your offering to the Missionaries of the Holy Family benefits the work of the priests and brothers.  The Missionaries of the Holy Family is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and your gift is tax deductible.  Your privacy is important to us so we do not sell, share or trade your personal information.

More information about Mass Intentions and stipends is available here.
