The Blessing of Parents Prayer is also used during our Mother's through Father's Day Novena. This Novena is held for nine Sundays - starting on the first Sunday in May.

Heavenly Father, the fullness of your design for the Family transforms a Husband and Wife into a Mother and Father. At the heart of this transformation you make self-sacrifice the cornerstone of Parental Love. Bless all Mothers and Fathers for their self-sacrifice and their journey of growing in self-sacrifice.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the role models of parenthood found in my own family, in other families and especially in the Holy Family of Nazareth. Blessed Mary, Blessed Saint Joseph guide us to always follow your example of love and fidelity and we ask for your prayers to your Son, Jesus, to bless all parents.
