Q1: Should I feel guilty about having my parent(s) in a nursing home?
A: Caring for our parents in their old age is an obligation.  That care can take many forms.  Sometimes that care can be at home or at a nursing home. Depending on the physical or medical attention that is needed, care at home may be impractical.  If our parents do live in a nursing home we should be attentive to visiting them.  Assuring that parents in a nursing home receive the proper care and attention is our responsibility.
